Call for Greek enterprises: Cluster ACT Matching event
CLUSTER ACT Matchmaking Event in collaboration with BlueGrowth Initiative
A virtual event under the 6th Posidonia Sea Tourism Forum featuring entrepreneurs’ pitches and investor’s pitches in which they will have the opportunity to present innovative start-ups and projects in the Blue Economy sector (yachting, cruising, smart marinas, smart ports, maritime tourism and shipbuilding industry).
The event is part of the CLUSTER ACT framework of activities to promote Blue Growth and help SMEs and start-ups access finance and business opportunities. In this regard, this matchmaking event will be an unprecedented opportunity for entrepreneurs, investors, corporates and maritime stakeholders to connect and develop together innovative strategies to deal with future common challenges.
This event will be an opportunity for Blue Economy entrepreneurs to make their maritime technologies known, present their innovative projects and attract investment from the sector. In fact, they will be given a unique chance to pitch their solutions in front of a panel of investors and investment experts. At the same time corporates will present the market needs, digital ports, upcoming trends in the maritime sector. The discussion will be attended by high level corporates in the blue economy from both the private and public sector.

Call for Italian enterprises: Cluster ACT Matching event
“STD Cluster ACT Matching event Italy”
Innovative Italian companies operating in nautical, cruising, ports and marinas sectors are invited to participate to the tailored Call for enterprises organized in the framework of Cluster ACT project. From August 31st until October 16th 2020, SMEs and start-ups will have the possibility to propose their innovative solutions or products for maritime sector. The selected enterprises will participate to a virtual matching event and will present their solutions to an audience of investors and reference actors of the technology and production chain. The Cluster ACT Italian Matching Event will be coordinated by the Maritime Technology Custer FVG and IBAN Italian Business Angels Network.
BlueInvest thematic workshop
The BlueInvest Thematic Workshop is a virtual event co-organized by BlueInvest and BlueGrowth (Aephoria).
The event features investor presentations, corporate care, and individual business meetings with potential partners, facilitators, and investors in the green transportation, smart ports, and maritime logistics industries.
Specific business meetings. This is an opportunity to present your business or solution to potential partners in 1:1 sessions. Open to maritime entrepreneurs, investors, corporations and stakeholders.

4 th SmartBlueCity Euro-Mediterranean Conference – Exhibition
The ClusterACT project will be present at the 4 th SmartBlueCity Euro-Mediterranean Conference – Exhibition which will be held at the 9 th -10 th of October 2020 in Athens, Greece. On behalf of the authors’ team, Mr. George Tsafonias, Research Associate at the Hellenic Institute of Transport, will present project work on “Supporting Maritime Innovation Ecosystems in the Mediterranean Region”.
According to the agenda , the presentation has been scheduled for the 10 th of October 2020 at 12.00, during Thematic Session 9 on Technological Innovations, Planning Approaches and Data Considerations for Managing Cities and Insular Communities in the MED.
