What have been achieved with Cluster ACT project?

Take a look to this video where the project partners explained their point of view, with impression on the main outputs and activities developed thanks to Cluster ACT. The video was recorded during the Cluster ACT International Matching Event, hold on September 17th, 2021 at the Genoa Boat Show.

Companies are invited to participate to the call for selection of the Cluster ACT International Matching Event: innovative solutions or products for maritime sector can be submitted from 17 May 2021 until 15 July 2021.

The best business ideas will be selected to participate to International Cluster ACT Matching Event, an initiative open to companies that will be held in Italy in September 2021 in the framework of the Genoa Boat Show (September 16th – 21st), where all the best innovative solutions or products selected from the Cluster ACT Matching Event of Italy, Spain, Greece, Croatia and Egypt as well as new ones from all MED countries will be presented (* see eligible countries below).

Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSME) and start-ups, with legal headquarters/operational offices registered in eligible Med Countries, can apply for their innovative solutions or products applicable to nautical, cruising or ports & marinas sectors. Each company can send only one application: the best business ideas will have the chance to perform an investor pitch and present their business idea to the audience of private investors.

The application to the call is free of charge; to be eligible it is mandatory to send to the email address comunicazione@marefvg.it the following documents:

- Annex A – Company details and declarations;
- Annex B – Technical proposal;
- Executive summary of the business plan;
- Resume of every team member;
- Pitch deck of the business idea.

The proposals will be evaluated until 21st July 2021 by the Judging Committee. The selected companies will be announced and informed by 31st July 2021.

A virtual event under the 6th Posidonia Sea Tourism Forum featuring entrepreneurs’ pitches and investor’s pitches in which they will have the opportunity to present innovative start-ups and projects in the Blue Economy sector (yachting, cruising, smart marinas, smart ports, maritime tourism and shipbuilding industry).

The event is part of the CLUSTER ACT framework of activities to promote Blue Growth and help SMEs and start-ups access finance and business opportunities. In this regard, this matchmaking event will be an unprecedented opportunity for entrepreneurs, investors, corporates and maritime stakeholders to connect and develop together innovative strategies to deal with future common challenges.

Innovative Italian companies operating in nautical, cruising, ports and marinas sectors are invited to participate to the tailored Call for enterprises organized in the framework of Cluster ACT project. During this event, SMEs and start-ups will have the possibility to propose their innovative solutions or products for maritime sector.

The selected enterprises will participate to a virtual matching event and will present their solutions to an audience of investors and reference actors of the technology and production chain. The Cluster ACT Italian Matching Event will be coordinated by the Maritime Technology Custer FVG and IBAN Italian Business Angels Network.
